Continental tests electronic boarding pass at Logan

As a follow up to my earlier post about allowing electronic boarding passes it appears that Continental has got an official program underway in Boston. I wonder how it works... has anyone out there gotten to board a plane by using their phone? I sense I will have to start coming up with recommendations about this pretty soon.
